Brigid "Brigs" Ashtear was born to Adrian and Ginger Ashtear in Vancouver. She has two older siblings, neither of which developed to an extraordinary extent that she did through puberty, for genetics sought to defy the status quo and make her body develop far outside of the norms for the fox species.

In college, she took courses in Monster Sciences and had intended on joining a local monster hunting group as an intern afterward, but life took hold and led her to move to the States.

Nowadays, she lives in New Hampshire with her longtime internet friend and up-and-coming politician, Eligh Brannigon, in the small mountain town known as Brickhedge.

Description:

Brigid is a member of the Red Fox species, but unlike her species namesake, her body is covered primarily in a smooth, velvety lavender-colored fur with a nearly pure white fur running up her midsection, stopping between her thighs and beneath her chin. 

The tips of her ears and tail have the appearance of having been dipped into a rich, black ink with the little tufts of fur that tip them, tapering off into a little wing. The same black color from her hair can be found running up both legs, giving the impression that she's always wearing long stockings.

Also unlike the norm for her species in this universe, Brigid had seen her body develop in extraordinary ways that defied the normal expectations for the body of a fox. For you see, the species were typically slim with very little body fat and a lack of a figure. Brigid had developed at the rate a wolf might during puberty, and by the age of 21, she had an impressive bustline(for a fox) and sported hips that made her sisters seeth with envy.

She sports long, jet-black hair that is typically kept in a braid, with her bangs feathered and brushed over her right eye, keeping the Scene style of the early 2010s alive. 

She has rose-pink pupils and a creamier pink color on the pads of her hands and paws(which is also shared with her private bits)

:: CLOTHING ::

Style: Brigid has forever struggled between wanting to accentuate her very un-fox-like features by accentuating them with tight-fitting tops and bottoms and wanting to conceal as much as possible. That said, seldom is she ever seen without something black and pink on, be it a hoodie, scarf, or button-up shirt.

Spring: 

In the spring, Brigid ditches the long pants and goes for above-the-knee dark grey cargo pants.
What she wears day to day on top of that varies depending on the weather and activities.

Her default outfit. The black and pink plaid shirt is worn hanging off her shoulders, resting in the crooks of her arms. Under that is a simple black push-up sports bra with a zipper on the front. She swaps out her cargo shorts for a pair of faded black denim shorts that rest above the knees.

Autumn:

A near-perfect form-fitting brown, wavy top that is neither too tight so as to reveal the outlines of what is beneath, nor is it loose enough that it fails to accentuate Brigid's (as a fox) features. Her pants are corduroy, and she wears a black belt through them.

Underwear: Brigid has several different matching pairs of underwear and bras but keeps a special bra that has clasps on the front and a faint moon motif pattern running across the cups specifically for special occasions.

:: PERSONALITY ::

Personality: Loud and fiery, even if she doesn't always mean to be. Never one to step down from a challenge or be bewildered by insults or offhand remarks. Never apologizes for her who she is. Dearly committed to her loved ones.

Temperament: Sometimes irritable, sometimes caring and needy. She's described herself as having the diet version of bipolar disorder.

Best Quality: She has a strong, determined mindset and is always ready to support her friends.

Worst Quality: Has no censor.

Hobbies: Reading, hiking, jogging, studying monsters, trying to keep the Scene and Goth girl scene alive in her 30s.

Talents: Brigid is a talented singer and almost equally good at dancing, having (secretly) taken lessons in her teens and telling nobeast. 

Loves: Advrik. The smell of the forest floor and the musty odor of mushrooms that grow over it during the autumn season. Dark and moody objects like skulls. Equally loves bright and colorful things and often mashes the two together.

Her irises shrink to pinpricks as she balances herself on one hand as the other coils back, always ready to throw a powerful magic spell.

:: CREATION & INSPIRATION ::

As was the three-rule case with Advrik and the rest of the crew, Brigid was to be the quintessential fox in the group(because it always seemed like every Furry had at least one fox in their arsenal). Her colors were chosen based on some of my own favorite colors, plus my fondness for lavender in general.

Her design was inspired by the Scene and Goth girl styles that were popular during the early MySpace and Facebook years. I integrated this into her character itself, as she's somewhere in her 30s but trying to keep the spirit of her youth alive in the way she dresses. This was drawn from my own real-world way of dressing, as I always look like I'm stepping off the set of some 90s sitcom. Not obnoxiously so, but if you were to look at me in real life for long enough, you'd see it.
