Background:

If asked, the wolf could not tell you where his life began or to whom he owes his existence, but in the same breath, he'd also tell you that he didn't care or that it didn't matter. He'd been given a blank slate for what it was worth, free to grow and develop without any parental figures hanging overhead beside the tenants at the Sitting Pretty Orphanage, where he spent the first eighteen years of his life.

Eventually finding his way to the town of Brickhedge, New Hampshire. Advrik purchased a fixer-upper and a small plot of land right in the middle of Main Street. Since then, he has been living out his days making the best of the lot in life he'd dug for himself.

Description:

A gray wolf of average to below average height. His body is mostly covered in greyish-brown fur. His midsection, which runs from his muzzle down to his inner thighs, is covered in a buttery vanilla color fur with a single streak leading upwards to his forehead between his eyes. 

He has a head of darker brown shaggy hair, the same color of which can be found running about halfway up his arms and legs, as well as a ring of darker fur around his muzzle where the lighter vanilla color ends.

His eyes are crimson red, evoking a sense of fire and flames whenever one chances to look into them for longer than they should. His paw pads, both on his hands and paws/feet, are a rough brick color.

:: CLOTHING ::

Style: Casual, a combination of early to mid-90s and early 00s gothic. Dresses according to the season, but has one or two pieces of clothing that are consistent across the board.

A black sleeveless zipper hoodie(-always- unzipped) over a dark grey T-shirt and a pair of black, on-the-knee cargo shorts.

Autumn:

Wears a black t-shirt with the Nordic rune for wolf printed across the lower left half. That shirt is worn over a thin, dark grey long-sleeved shirt. Finally, over that, he wears a pair of long, black gothic pants.

Winter:

Wears a heavy yellow plaid coat over a dark grey sweater and his "Y2K Pants". Will occasionally wear a black beanie with grey horizontal stripes across the brim depending on the weather and if it's snowing or not.

:: PERSONALITY ::

Personality: Calm, cool, collected. Never does as much research on something as he should before jumping into it and often finds himself having to wing the situation as a result.

Temperament: Easy-going.

Best Quality: His determination to see something through and always wanting to right wrongs, especially if he was the cause of the issue. Not afraid of apologizing or owning up to mistakes.

Worst Quality: Can become too overly attached, resulting in jealousy and worry over any given relationship.

Primal Regress Form: Wulphelk

Description: As the situation becomes dire in battle, Advrik can tap into his Primal form. A creature that resides in all modern beasts that, as long as it is used sparingly, will not cause decay to the mental state. Primal forms last for three rounds of combat.

The Wulphelk is a unique transformation as it is neither wolf nor elk, but a horrific, monstrous amalgamation of the two into a nearly bipedal, hunched-back creature. Standing over nine feet tall, the Wulphelk has very broad shoulders and a long snake-like neck with which he can coil and strike. Atop his giant head is a pair of mighty elk-like antlers in a constant state of velvet, giving it a gruesome, gory appearance.

:: CREATION & INSPIRATION ::

When I started creating the five leads of my story, I had three themes in mind that I wanted to base them around. First was the Alphabet for their names. Second, each character had to be based on an animal species found in the North American wilds. And finally, the third would be a certain style or period that would be used in which to fashion them after.

In Advrik's case, he was the hero, The lead, so he had to have all of the qualities and the looks of a protagonist. Wield a sword, be kind and caring. You know, just look the part. For his general clothing style, I went with the early to mid-1990s look with a dash of gothic flare from the late 90s into the early 2000s.
