Nearing not only the end of the 20-hour mark, but also the end of the first summer season in the game. My impressions of the game are nothing but solid, let me tell you. I have not enjoyed a game in this series as much as this since, oh, maybe Magical Melody? By relation, I'd say Harvest Moon DS as well, even though I didn't play that until much later.
But the game just oozes polish and quality. Two aspects the series has never known. Marvelous did truly wonderful things with this remake, and that, if nothing else, tells me that they do still know how to make enjoyable games in this genre and that itself is very exciting for the series' future.
That said, once I finish the first in-game year, I'll be hanging up my overalls for a bit as it'll be competing with Hollow Knight Silksong playtime, and I haven't been waiting six years for that game to have it share the limelight with another game.
