Everything is looking a tad bit cluttered right now due to the spacing and size of the plants, but beyond that and some minor browning on tomato plant leaves, the garden is doing great. The cucumbers(pictured above) have really taken off after this past week of rain and are already beginning to vine outside of the bed.
The pumpkin plant is interesting in that it is going up instead of out which is weird as I've never had a pumpkin plant grow so tall before. Could be that it's just the variety, but who knows.
The pole beans have finally started to put out their tendrils, reaching for the rope bridges I made between the two beds leading to their trellis, or "Bean Tower" as I like to call it.
The red lunch box pepper plant is doing really well; In fact I'd say it's doing better than any pepper plant I've grown in the past, and this is even after a transplant from a container.
The Lemon Boy tomato plant is showing the most activity right now in terms of visible growth, with eight tomatoes growing in total and more to surely come.
The empty spot where I planted the carrots is still empty as carrots take forever to germinate and come above ground... At least that's what I am telling myself. Honestly, if nothing else comes up between now and my next paycheck, I'm putting something else in there.
