Loona & Helluva Boss

This summer is becoming a lot like the summer of 2020 for me, and the summer of 2012 before that.

What I mean is, it's a summer of infatuation in one particular piece of media that I will obsess over for the remainder of the season/year. In 2012, I was waist deep in the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic craze, which actually continued for quite some time and still, personally, does today. Following that was a reignition of my love for Scott Pilgrim in 2020; I was buying shirts, the movie, hyping up the re-release of the game. Even got an autographed photo of Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

Now THIS year, I saw myself returning to the Furry community once again after falling out with it in 2011/2012. The reason? I was lured back by a vicious, disgruntled Hellhound.

The adopted daughter of Blitzo (the O is silent). She's angry. She's a goth. And she has an incredible design, but even with that praise it's not enough to describe how great this character is. She's complex, putting on a strong facade when around her father and their coworkers, but seemingly struggle when under the general public eye. She has a soft, sensitive side that seldom shows that adds some extra layers to her character as well.

I haven't been this infatuated with a particular character or a media in a while, and so what did I do? I bought some merch.

I'll only wear the shirt on special occasions. It's a limited run item and no more will be produced. The pin is staying in the packaging on the card, as I intend on it remaining pristine. The keychain is so that I can take the character everywhere with me, not only to just have the character there but also to show off my fandom to anyone that might recognize her.
