GAME POWER! :: Mega Man VI

If Mega Man V was peak NES era, then VI is right below it. You can really tell that the devs were already more focused on the forthcoming Mega Man X. The RM designs were overall fantastic, but their weapons are incredibly lackluster and suffer from the same issue as the later Mega Man X games in that there's just not a whole lot going for them.

I love the worldwide approach to the designs this time around.

Wind Man is your first target as his pattern is fairly easy to maneuver around.

You can blow out Flame Man using Wind Man's weapon immediately after.

Flame Man will melt away any trouble Blizzard Man might impose upon you.

Deal Plant Man a hard freeze using Blizzard Man's weapon.

Kind of weird that Tomahawk Man, the RM based on Native Americans is weak against a nature-based weapon honestly.

The mighty Yamato Man is next, and his armor can be penetrated using tomahawks.

East meets West when Yamato Man's weapon shatters Knight Man's armor.

Finally, Centaur Man is the last of the eight Robot Masters you're going to face. His design is right up there with Splash Woman as far as unique designs go.

Now is the time to face the man behind the trouble all these years: Mister X!

Your first challenge is the Rounder II, a pair of robots set to wall tracks that bare a striking resemblance to the Dark Man robots. They are weak to Flame Blast and Plant Barrier.

Next is the Power Piston. It is easily dispatched using the Tomahawk Man weapon.

Metonger Z is Mr. X's last line of defense; One that is very easily destroyed using Blizzard Man's weapon.

Finally, face to face with Mr. X and his X Crusher(An invention that should have been stored away for future use). It can be taken out quite easily using the charged Buster or Flame Man's weapon.

Surprising literally no one, Mr. X reveals himself to be Dr. Wily!

Mechazaurus is easily one of the coolest-looking big-bads in Wily's castle. It's just a shame it's so easily sent to the scrap yard using the Yamato Spear.

Tank CSII is the last and final line of defense for Wily, and it is weak to high gusts of wind.

Now's time to face Wily himself once again in his Wily Machine 6! With all those moving parts and openings on the machine, it's no wonder a tomahawk can slide right in and damage it.

I, unfortunately, did not get a picture of the Wily Capsule this time around, it was destroyed quite easily using the Silver Tomahawk as well

And finally, after years of battle, the evil doctor was brought to justice and thrown behind bars.

...But for how long?
