The king was gravely injured, but alive still. They took him to his quarters while I set off for the mountains beyond the castle to confront Silver Armlet.
Their castle was situated in an expansive canyon that cleaved through the land. A pretty view, but not one I can take the time to indulge in right now.
Silver was a being of honor if nothing else, and the trade-off off—the pandora cube for the princess—was seamless. Still, their being in possession of the item meant that the situation was dire and that I would have to give chase to SIlver
With the princess returning safely to the castle, I could make my way into the enemy base and finish this mess once and for all.
Their palace was less like a castle and more like a cave. The spirits made their presence apparent and helped me however they could. After a good long while, we made
The Non-Entity was a massive, ethereal face that sapped my ability to summon the spirits to my aid. It summoned meteors to try and pelt me from above, which failed. It created black holes to try and toss me into the void. That failed too. As a last-ditch effort, seeing that its attempts to destroy me and my golden armlet, it exposed its weakness to fire a massive energy beam from its middle eye.
That too had failed.
With the Non-Entity defeated, I was thrust into another realm. A land so familiar, yet simultaneously alien at the same time...
